This mileage will vary depending on your usage and screen brightness, but it’s still an impressive result that raises the bar for what we generally expect from a laptop.

As for charging, Apple has wisely decided to use the same cables (and rechargeable batteries) across all its computers running macOS (and now iOS), allowing those who already own compatible power supplies or travel adaptors to use them straight away. If you want a wall adapter though, we recommend getting the 30W USB-C Power Adapter as they offer fast charging performance compared to other adapters included in the box with other models.
